While I agree he is a good field general, and a good game manager behind the plate, his weak arm and weak bat shows a big hole in the team. I think Posada is just having a bad season. He's had years before where he couldn't throw anybody out and then followed it up with great performances behind the plate the next season. He's also just in a bad slump with the bat. In mid-June he was hitting around .290 and some people were considering him for the All-Star game.
