08/18: Ross Ortiz Opts Out of Deal
Veteran hurler Russ Ortiz has opted out of his contract with the Yankees after three minor league starts,
reports Peter Abraham. He was 2-1 with a 1.59 ERA for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
