09/01: Murcer, Rizzuto, Others Up for Frick Award
Bryan Hoch of MLB.com points to the
2009 Ford C. Frick Award voting page. The top three fan selections will be included on the ten person ballot, from which the honoree will be selected.
Hoch notes that other current or former Yankees broadcasters are on the ballot, as well, such as Michael Kay, John Sterling, Jim Kaat, Ken Singleton, Bill White, Frank Messer and Tony Kubek.
