06/30: Yurendell DeCaster Purchased by Yankees From Northern League
OurSports Central reports that the Yankees have purchased third baseman Yurendell DeCaster from the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks of the Northern League. He's 29 and was hitting .344 with 13 home runs and 43 RBI through
37 games. The article says that he'll be reporting to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
