04/17: Matsui Hurting, Robertson Down, Miranda Up
The
AP reports that Hideki Matsui's knees are filled with fluid, forcing him into pinch hit duty for now. I knew Matsui would probably wear down, but already? Unfortunate.
In light of this, the team has brought up first baseman Juan Miranda from the minors. To make room, reliever David Robertson has been sent back down to Triple-A.
