Though I can learn to live with it, I am not enthused with this signing...but here are various articles regarding the signing:

I was a bit surprised to hear this last night. The price is a bit heftier than I expected for him. It can't hurt to have him on the team but the price was a little much and he's not even the best leadoff hitter on the Yankees, let alone in all of baseball.

On the brightside, the Red Sox are now without a CF. They can replace Damon via trade, but they'll have to give something up in return.
