Next up is our own Michael Black.
When you're not blogging about the Yankees, thinking about the Yankees, talking about the Yankees, reading about the Yankees or watching the Yankees, what are you doing?
When I'm not sleeping, I am either studying to finish my degree or keeping up with my 2 year old. When I do get some free time outside of that, I like to read about baseball and civil war history.
How long have you been blogging about the Yankees?
For YanksBlog.com since its inception back last May. Other than that, I've used blogging in such a creative way to get out my frustrations. I've since got a handle on them, thanks in part to YanksBlog.com being such a family friendly place.
Besides your own, what are your favorite Yankees blogs?
For a good laugh, I always read noMaas.org. Steve over at WasWatching.com stays on top of things better than the NY media it seems. And Mike A.'s new blog, In George We Trust, is another must read.
What are some of your earliest memories of the Yankees?
The earliest memories for me were Reggie Jackson's 3 homer game in the '77 World Series. I also, remember rather vividly the series against the Dodgers back in '81. (For those wondering, I was 7 in '77 and 11 in '81).
Did you grow up rooting for the Yanks? Was your Dad or someone in your family influential in making sure you pulled for the Yankees?
The reason I'm a Yankees fan and by the good grace of God not a Braves fan (shudder) is that my Dad was a Yankees fan. My Dad grew up pulling for Mantle, Maris, Yogi... in a small town down in NC. He passed that along to me. What a joy it is to spend time with him during the summer and watch Yankee games with. He confided in me lately that his all time favorite Yankee is Mattingly.
Who is your all-time - past or present - favorite Yankee and why?
All-time favorite is without a doubt Lou Gehrig. His farewell speech is one of the reasons why. Yogi Berra is a close second.
Do you admire anyone (doesn't need to be a player) in the Yankee organization?
The first person that popped into my head was A-Rod. I admire his ability to switch from one of the best shortstops in the game to third base. I admire how he deferred to Derek Jeter as the leader of the Yankees. That showed a lot of class, regardless of what Schilling thinks.
In your wildest dreams, what position would you like to play for the Yankees and why?
My wildest dreams would have me playing catcher. He is the field general. The guy who runs the show on the field. Do I think I could hold onto the ball if Albert Belle was rounding third, aiming to make a hard slide? You better bet I could! This is my wildest dream after all.
How often do you make it to the stadium to see a game?
At least once a year. The last game I went to was when Jeter scaled the back of Cano on that pop up in the shallow outfield. Obi Wang pitched and the Yanks won! When I lived in New Jersey, it was around 10 times. Although when I look back on it, I was a lot lazier then and more often than not settled for the couch than making the trek.
Should Bob Sheppard have a place in the Hall of Fame?
That's even a question? Let's hope that they are already making plans.
Of any retired former Yankee that is not in the Hall of Fame already, who is the one that most deserves to be?

What do you think of the moves that the Yankees have made this offseason?
With Damon, they have a fine quality leadoff hitter. Jeter can go into the 2nd slot, with A-Rod in 3rd. With Damon, they have an arm just as bad as Bernie's. I'm all about defense and I don't see any major upgrades there. This is just my opinion. A young speedy outfielder that can catch the ball or just an intimidator would have been awesome. I don't want to see us losing games to Tampa this year.
What do you think we'll see from Chacon and Wang this season?
Chacon and Wang will continue to show us that they have the stuff. I believe Chacon will be less injury prone than Wang, who will go onto the DL (this is prediction time) for an "Aaron Small" stay.
Of current Yankees, if the sky is dark and the mountain high and you need someone to make something happen, who do you want at the plate?
Godzilla. He proved this time and time again last year... at least until the playoffs.
